Faith

It can be difficult to discuss faith. Diane's desire to serve springs from her deep faith.

On the corner near her family home in Lackawanna , NY stands the magnificent building of Our Lady of Victory Basilica & National Shrine. It is from there that a relationship with faith developed. Father Baker's hallways were a playground for the neighborhood and safe haven for all. Please visit the site and the Shrine:

In Vermont this faith involvement continued at St. Peter's Parish, Vergennes , VT.

As a religion instructor at her parish, she brought understanding and the enlightenment of a Holy presence to children as they prepared to make their Sacraments. Some of her students have followed in contributing to their parish and are now also teachers. She sees her involvement in her student's education as one of her most cherished experiences.

Jim and Diane have been very active in the parish they were married. Their involvement has included - Parish Counsel, Building Committee, Finance Committee, Religious Instructor, Folk Group, Eurcharist Minister, and member of the Bishop Lay Dialogue.
